Health Psychology Services Ltd is owned and operated by Dr. Shilpa Patel & Dr. Harbinder Sandhu, both registered Practitioner Psychologists in the United Kingdom. We provide tailored psychological and behaviour change therapies to improve performance, well-being, health and quality of life for a range of clients. What makes Health Psychology Services Ltd unique?

We draw from a combined 20 years of designing and delivering health services research which we are able to incorporate into our tailored work with clients.
We have specialist clinical expertise of applying psychological approaches to the successful management of chronic pain.
We offer a multilingual service – Languages including Punjabi, Gujarati, Hindi and of course English.
Whilst primarily based in the Midlands, we would consider assisting clients both nationally and internationally.

Professional registration and client safety

To protect the public, all Practitioner Psychologists are regulated by the Health Care and Professions Council. This regulating body sets out a code of conduct and standards of proficiency to help safeguard the public. These standards ensure Psychologists are appropriately trained and continue to update these skills while practicing. Both Directors hold individual registration which can be confirmed directly with the Health & Care Professions Council.

Furthermore, both Directors are also Chartered Psychologists and Associate Fellows of The British Psychological Society. The society holds a strict code of conduct which is adhered to. Chartered Psychologist status is the benchmark of professional recognition for psychologists and is a mark of experience, competence and reputation for anyone looking to employ, consult or learn from a psychologist.

Complaints procedure

If for any reason you are not happy with our service or you have any other cause for concern there are complaints procedures for you to follow with both/either the Health & Care Professions Council Complaint Procedure and/or The British Psychological Society Complaints Procedure.
