“I came to see Shilpa after I had just been signed off work with stress related anxiety and depression. Shilpa is very friendly, approachable, caring, encouraging but also challenging when necessary. She helped me to understand the triggers for my behaviours and unhelpful thought patterns which had been contributing to my stress reactions. We were then able to identify tools that have helped me to effectively break though those patterns. I have also benefited from learning relaxation techniques and to include mindfulness activities in my daily life. With her help I was able to return to work after 3 months and get back to a place of resilience after 6 months with a significant reduction in my symptoms.
